Dr. Ahmed Kamel El-Desouky
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kasr Al-Ainy, Cairo University
Dr. Ahmed Kamel El-Desouky is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasr Al-Ainy, Cairo University, and a highly experienced fertility consultant and IVF specialist with more than 17 years of clinical and academic practice. He is widely recognized for his expertise in IVF–ICSI, male and female infertility, and advanced minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. El-Desouky completed a Fellowship in Gynecologic Endoscopy at the University of Cologne, Germany, and is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). His surgical expertise includes laparoscopic hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, as well as hysteroscopic and reproductive endoscopic procedures, offering effective, patient-centered solutions for complex fertility and gynecologic conditions.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. El-Desouky is a founding member of AlBoshra IVF Center and has made significant academic contributions through international publications in reproductive medicine. His research focuses on fertility outcomes, metabolic factors affecting reproduction, innovative IVF techniques, and minimally invasive surgery.
He currently practices at several leading hospitals, including El Nada Zayed Hospital, and serves as a consultant at the Kasr Al-Ainy Assisted Conception and IVF Unit, remaining actively involved in advancing fertility care through both practice and research.
