Dr. Amr El Meliegy
Professor of Andrology, Sexology & STDs at Cairo University
Dr. El Meliegy graduated from Cairo University Medical School in 1984. He completed a fellowship in Male Sexual Function, Reproduction, and Microsurgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, USA in 1991, followed by a visiting clinician position in Male Sexual Dysfunction at UCSF, USA. In 2012, he earned the Fellowship of the European Society for Sexual Medicine (FECSM). Dr. El Meliegy holds a doctorate in Andrology, Sexology, and STDs from Cairo University (1993) and is currently a Professor in the Andrology, Sexology & STDs Department at Cairo University. He founded and served as the first president of the Middle East Society for Sexual Medicine. His research includes over 60 publications in journals such as the International Journal of Impotence Research and the Journal of Sexual Medicine. He also chairs the Public Policy Committee of the International Society for Sexual Medicine and is the founder and editor-in-chief of the website Se7atalragol.com.
