Dr. Amr Hassan Mostafa

Dr. Amr Hassan Mostafa is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Cairo University and a highly experienced consultant in adult cardiovascular and interventional cardiology. He combines decades of advanced clinical practice with strong academic and international leadership credentials.
Dr. Mostafa completed a four-year clinical and research fellowship (1988–1992) at the Texas Heart Institute and the University of Kentucky, USA, where he received advanced training in acute cardiac care, coronary interventions, and cardiovascular research. He is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and a member of both the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
Throughout his career, Dr. Mostafa has held several senior international leadership positions, including Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Coronary Care Units, contributing to the development of high-level interventional cardiology services.
He has published extensively in leading international journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), and has organized and chaired major international cardiovascular scientific meetings in collaboration with institutions such as Emory University and the Ochsner Institute (USA).
Clinically, Dr. Mostafa is recognized for his expertise in managing acute cardiovascular emergencies and for the advanced use of cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent technologies. He follows a multidisciplinary heart-team approach, coordinating with subspecialists to deliver individualized treatment plans in accordance with international clinical guidelines.
