
Dr. Amr Hassan Mostafa
Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine & Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Amr Hassan Mostafa is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at Cairo University and a highly specialized consultant in adult heart and vascular diseases. He completed a four-year clinical and research fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute and the University of Kentucky, USA, from 1988 to 1992. Dr. Amr is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Catheterization and Interventions (SCAI) and a member of both the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology. Throughout his career, he has held several international leadership roles, including Director of Cardiac Catheterization and Coronary Care units.
With numerous publications in leading journals like the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Amr is recognized for his contributions to cardiovascular research. He has organized and chaired several international cardiovascular scientific meetings in collaboration with Emory University and the Ochsner Institute in the USA. Dr. Amr brings extensive expertise in managing acute cardiovascular emergencies and specializes in using advanced catheterization, angioplasty, and stent technologies. His comprehensive approach includes collaborating with other sub-specialists to determine optimal treatment plans following international guidelines.
