Dr. Annie A. Ohanessian is a highly accomplished healthcare professional specializing in clinical research, nutrition, and internal medicine. She holds an MBBCh degree from Ain Shams University in Cairo and has pursued advanced academic and professional training to expand her expertise across evidence-based medicine, integrative care, and patient-centered health management.

Her postgraduate education includes the Program on Clinical Effectiveness at Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a Professional Diploma in Biostatistics and Clinical Trials from the Scientific Informatics Research Academy in Cairo, as well as diplomas in Health Coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition from Cairo University.

With more than a decade of clinical experience, Dr. Ohanessian has worked as a clinical nutrition specialist, certified health coach, and clinical researcher. Her practice focuses on providing palliative and supportive care for oncology patients, with particular attention to individualized nutritional strategies, and guiding patients in integrative medical settings to implement sustainable lifestyle and dietary changes for chronic disease management.

Dr. Ohanessian has also made notable contributions to medical research. She has served as a substitute Principal Investigator in international studies on stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation and the effectiveness of oral antithrombotic therapies. Her MSc thesis examined the relationship between prolactin, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S), and the severity of chronic urticaria. She is an active member of both the Egyptian Medical Association for the Study of Obesity and the International Association for the Study of Obesity, and regularly participates in health education through lectures, awareness sessions, and medical writing.
