Invasive cardiology: high volume principal operator at the National Heart Institute cath lab, the facility includes 5 cath labs with a volume of over 15000 cases /year, Dr. Ragy performs about 700 PCI cases per year as the primary operator. Dr. Ragy is also the director of the cath lab at the Hayat hospital in Cairo and a principal operator in the Cairo Catheter Center, International Medical center, and Dar Al Fouad Hospital. 27 years of experience in other aspects of cardiology with a keen interest in Echocardiography including recent training in contrast echo. Another area of interest is hypertension, Dr. Ragy operates the Cairo Hypertension clinic which is a center of excellence for the management of hypertension, and was the chairman of the annual meeting of the Egyptian society of hypertension in Cairo in April 2010.
