Dr. Hisham Shokeir
Professor of Dermatology at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University
Dr. Shokeir is a Professor of Dermatology at the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES), Cairo University, where he has been using laser in treatment of skin diseases since 1994 and he was the Dean of NILES during the period of 2008 to 2011. Dr. Shokeir had a Post Doctoral laser training at Regensburg University, Germany under Supervision of Prof. Dr. Micheal Landthaler in treatment of:
- Vascular and pigmented skin lesions
- Hair reduction in females and males
- Facial rejuvenation and Post Acne Scars
- Warts and benign skin lesions
- Tattoos, etc Dr. Shokeir is a member of: The editorial board of the Egyptian Journal of Dermatology and Venereology (ETDV), The European Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ESDV), The European Society of Laser Dermatology (ESLD) and he is also the vice president of the Egyptian Afro-Asian Society of cosmetic Dermatology and Laser (EASCOL). Dr. Shokeir has been a chairman, speaker, as well as a trainer in National and International laser conferences and workshops and he has many publications in the field of laser.
