Dr. Magdy El-Shahawi is a Professor of Surgery at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University, and a leading authority in surgical oncology. He previously served as Head of the Surgical Oncology Department at NCI, reflecting his long-standing leadership and academic contributions in cancer care.
Dr. El-Shahawi completed advanced training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, one of the world’s foremost cancer institutions, where he further developed expertise in modern oncologic surgical techniques.
