Dr. Moataza Bashir is a Consultant of Pediatrics and Neonatology at Cairo University and a recognized authority in neonatal care. She holds an MD in Pediatrics with a subspecialty in neonatal infections and has authored more than 46 national and international scientific publications in the field of neonatology.
Her clinical and academic interests focus on newborn nutrition, growth, and the management of complex neonatal conditions. Dr. Bashir has received advanced international training, including specialized programs at George Washington Teaching Hospital in the USA in neonatal ventilation and ultrasound imaging, as well as training at Hôpital Debrousse in Lyon, France, in total prenatal nutrition.
Dr. Bashir currently serves as Secretary General of the Egyptian Association of Neonatology and is a member of the World Association of Prenatal Medicine, reflecting her leadership and active contribution to advancing neonatal and prenatal care.
