Dr. Mohamed Hakky

Dr. Mohamed Hakky is a highly experienced Consultant in General and Laparoscopic Surgery with a distinguished academic and leadership career spanning more than three decades. He earned his MBBCh from Cairo University in 1976, followed by a Master’s degree in General Surgery in 1980 and a Doctorate (MD) in General Surgery in 1988.

Dr. Hakky began his surgical training at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospital, Cairo University, before continuing his academic and clinical career as a senior resident and lecturer in general surgery at King Faisal University in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He later served as Specialist Surgeon at Egypt Air Hospital, where he was appointed Chairman of the General Surgery Department for over a decade. He also held executive leadership roles, including General Manager and Vice Chairman of Egypt Air Hospital, and later Chairman and CEO of the Egyptian Railways Medical Company.

In 1990, Dr. Hakky received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Tennessee, USA. Since then, he has been actively involved in teaching and conducting laparoscopic surgery workshops in several countries. He also serves as Secretary General of the Egyptian International Conference, a role he has held since 1994, contributing significantly to surgical education and professional development.
