Dr. Mohamed Refaay is a Consultant in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) with advanced academic and surgical experience in head and neck surgery. He completed international clinical training as a visiting resident at Edouard Herriot Hospital and as a visiting assistant at Claude Bernard University in France, gaining extensive exposure to modern ENT and head and neck surgical techniques.
Dr. Refaay has played a significant role in the development of head and neck surgery within the Department of Otolaryngology at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. He contributed to introducing new surgical techniques, several of which were implemented at the department level and later adopted more broadly across Egypt. In addition, he has actively supported the dissemination of advanced ENT surgical practices through voluntary academic collaboration and training with multiple Egyptian universities, including Zagazig University, Suez Canal University, and South Valley University.
His clinical interests include advanced ENT surgery, head and neck disorders, and evidence-based management of ear, nose, and throat diseases, with a strong emphasis on surgical precision and patient safety.
