Dr. Mohamed Talaat is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, and Professor of Clinical Hematology with extensive academic, clinical, and leadership experience. He also serves as Chief of the Internal Medicine Department at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST), where he plays a key role in medical education and clinical governance.
Dr. Talaat is a recognized expert in clinical hematology, with a major focus on hemophilia and bleeding disorders. He is a Consultant in Clinical Hematology for the Medical Insurance Authority in Egypt and at 6th of October University, providing specialized care for complex blood disorders. His academic background includes an MD (Doctorate) thesis and research on chronic liver diseases in Egypt, as well as a Master’s degree in Internal Medicine with specialization in diabetes mellitus and insulin resistance.
Internationally, Dr. Talaat is affiliated with Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAHC), where he serves as an Internal Medicine Quality Specialty Moderator for adult screening and preventive medicine programs. He is also actively involved in mentoring internal medicine consultants and subspecialists across designated medical facilities in collaboration with JHAHC, contributing to high standards of clinical quality and patient safety.
