Dr. Mona Roshdy

Dr. Mona Roshdy Hamady is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Nephrology at Cairo University, where she has been serving since 2012. She earned her Doctorate degree in 2002, with a thesis focused on diabetes and its complications, with particular emphasis on diabetic kidney disease.

Dr. Roshdy received comprehensive training across multiple subspecialties of internal medicine at Cairo University Hospitals, including cardiology, chest and respiratory diseases, rheumatology and immunology, gastroenterology, and hepatology. She also completed advanced training in nephrology and dialysis at the Renal Unit of Kasr Al Ainy Hospital (King Fahd Unit), where she continues to practice as a Professor of Nephrology.

In 2012, Dr. Roshdy completed an advanced diabetes course at the University of St Andrews in Scotland, further strengthening her expertise in diabetes-related renal complications. She has served as a Consultant in Internal Medicine at New Kasr Al Ainy Teaching Hospital and Misr International Hospital, and has authored numerous scientific publications in national and international journals in the fields of internal medicine, nephrology, and diabetes.

Dr. Roshdy is an active participant in regional and international conferences on nephrology and hypertension. Her clinical expertise includes the management of chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, and dialysis care, with a strong emphasis on early diagnosis, long-term disease control, and patient-centered treatment.
