Dr. Nehal El Ghobashy is a Professor of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at Cairo University, with extensive academic and clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2007 with honors, and completed her residency training in internal medicine, intensive care, and rheumatology at Cairo University Hospitals.
Dr. El Ghobashy earned her Master’s degree in Rheumatology in 2012 and her Doctorate in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology in 2016 from Cairo University. In the same year, she obtained certification from the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) through its postgraduate course in rheumatic diseases, reflecting her commitment to international standards of care.
Her clinical interests include vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other autoimmune connective tissue diseases. She also has extensive experience in the management of fibromyalgia, regional pain syndromes, and osteoporosis.
