Dr. Yehia Safwat is a Professor of Surgery at Cairo University (Kasr Al-Ainy) and one of the leading breast surgeons in Egypt. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, ranking among the top 2% of his class in 1982. His advanced surgical training includes experience at Kasr Al-Ainy Hospitals, Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, USA), Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, USA), and the National Cancer Institute, Cairo.
Dr. Safwat specializes in the diagnosis and surgical management of all breast conditions, including breast pain, infections, nipple discharge, and benign and malignant tumors. He performs state-of-the-art breast surgeries, such as lumpectomy, oncoplastic breast surgery, breast-conserving mastectomy with reconstruction, and sentinel lymph node biopsy.
