Lab Tests & Home Sample Collection in Cairo | Oasis Clinics

Laboratory Services

Getting accurate lab results quickly matters. So does not having to sit in traffic and a waiting room for a blood draw when a nurse can come to you instead.

Oasis Clinics provides a full range of clinical laboratory services, with home sample collection available seven days a week from 10am to 10pm. Whether you need a single test ordered by your doctor or a comprehensive preventive panel, our lab runs on the same clinical infrastructure that supports the clinic’s 30+ specialties.

What We Test

The panels below represent our most commonly requested tests. They are not exhaustive. Our laboratory supports advanced and specialized diagnostics beyond this list, ordered in coordination with the relevant specialist when clinically indicated.

Routine and Preventive Screening

The foundation of any health assessment, and the starting point for most consultations at Oasis Clinics:

  • Complete blood count (CBC)
  • Liver function tests (ALT, AST, GGT, bilirubin, albumin)
  • Kidney function (creatinine, urea, eGFR)
  • Lipid profile (total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides)
  • Blood glucose and HbA1c for diabetes screening and ongoing management
  • Thyroid function (TSH, free T3, free T4)
  • Uric acid

Hormonal Panels

For patients investigating fatigue, unexplained weight changes, reproductive health, mood shifts, or suspected hormonal imbalances:

  • Sex hormones: testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, FSH, LH, prolactin
  • Cortisol (morning and 24-hour urine collection)
  • Insulin and HOMA-IR (insulin resistance)
  • DHEA-S and adrenal hormones
  • Growth hormone and IGF-1

Nutritional and Micronutrient Testing

Deficiencies that standard panels often miss but that show up clearly in targeted testing:

  • Vitamin D (25-OH)
  • Vitamin B12 and folate
  • Iron studies: serum iron, ferritin, TIBC, transferrin saturation
  • Magnesium
  • Zinc

Inflammatory and Immune Markers

  • CRP and high-sensitivity CRP
  • ESR
  • Autoimmune markers: ANA, anti-dsDNA, ANCA, rheumatoid factor

Infectious Disease

  • Hepatitis B (HBsAg, HBcAb, HBeAg) and Hepatitis C (anti-HCV, HCV PCR)
  • H. pylori (stool antigen and serology)
  • HIV screening
  • Cultures: urine, stool, wound

Tumor Markers

  • PSA (prostate)
  • CA-125 (ovarian)
  • CEA, AFP, CA 19-9

Urine and Stool Analysis

  • Complete urinalysis and urine culture
  • Stool analysis and occult blood testing

Home Sample Collection

A trained nurse comes to your home or workplace with all required equipment. The service runs seven days a week, including weekends, from 10am to 10pm. Results are processed through the same reporting pipeline as in-clinic samples.

This works well for:

  • Patients with limited mobility
  • Parents coordinating testing for multiple family members in one visit
  • Anyone managing a busy schedule who doesn’t want to lose half a day to a lab trip
  • Corporate or group health screenings

From Lab to Doctor

Lab results at Oasis Clinics feed directly into the same clinical system used by the specialist team. If a result needs interpretation or follow-up, booking a consultation with the relevant specialist, whether internal medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, cardiology, or others, is straightforward. You don’t restart with a doctor who hasn’t seen your history.

This matters most for complex panels. Hormone profiles, metabolic markers, and inflammatory workups often look unremarkable in isolation. Reviewed by a clinician who knows what to connect, they tell a different story. That continuity is built into how the lab works here.
