Skin Laser Unit
Cosmetic Dermatology and Skin Laser Unit
There’s a real difference between cosmetic procedures done in a medical setting and those done in a salon or standalone aesthetics clinic. At Oasis Clinics, the skin laser unit is run by specialist dermatologists. That means every treatment begins with a proper skin assessment, laser parameters are set for your specific skin type, and if a lesion or pigmentation issue has a medical explanation, the clinical infrastructure to investigate it is right here.
For patients with darker skin tones, common across the Egyptian and Middle Eastern patient base, that clinical grounding is not optional. Laser energy interacts differently with higher-melanin skin, and the margin for error is narrow. Getting it right requires experience, not just equipment.
Laser Treatments
Laser Hair Removal
Permanent hair reduction for the face, underarms, legs, bikini area, and full body. Treatments are spaced to align with the natural hair growth cycle, and the protocol is adjusted for your skin and hair type to maximize efficacy and minimize skin reaction. This is one of the most requested procedures at Oasis Clinics and is performed using medical-grade laser systems.
Skin Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing stimulates collagen production and progressively improves skin texture, tone, and surface quality. Used for:
- Acne scars and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Fine lines and surface-level wrinkles
- Sun damage and uneven skin tone
- Enlarged pores and rough skin texture
Pigmentation and Melasma Treatment
Melasma and hyperpigmentation are among the most common dermatological concerns for patients in Egypt and the broader region. They’re also among the most frequently mismanaged, because standard laser protocols designed for lighter skin can make pigmentation worse on darker complexions. Treatment at Oasis Clinics combines targeted laser with a clinically supervised protocol built for melanin-rich skin.
Vascular Lesions
Laser treatment for broken capillaries, facial redness, rosacea, and superficial vascular marks.
Anti-Aging Injectables
Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botulinum Toxin)
Temporary relaxation of the muscles that drive dynamic facial wrinkles: forehead lines, the frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet at the outer eye corners. Effects develop over 5 to 7 days and last approximately 3 to 4 months. The goal is a refreshed appearance, not a frozen one. Dosage and placement are calibrated per patient.
Dermal Fillers
Injectable fillers restore volume and contour to areas that hollow or flatten with age. Common treatment areas:
- Nasolabial folds (the lines from nose to mouth)
- Lip volume and definition
- Cheek and midface contour
- Under-eye hollows (tear troughs)
- Jawline definition
Results are immediate. Depending on the product and area, they last from 6 months to 2 years.
Skin Lesion Procedures
Cautery and Cryotherapy
Removal of benign skin lesions including skin tags, warts, seborrheic keratoses, and small benign growths. Cryotherapy uses targeted cold; cautery uses controlled heat. Both are short outpatient procedures with minimal recovery time and no general anesthesia required.
Skin Biopsies
Where a lesion needs pathological analysis before treatment, biopsies are performed by the dermatology team and sent to the laboratory for review. Any lesion that has changed in size, color, shape, or texture, or that looks uncertain, should be biopsied before anything else is done to it. This is standard clinical practice, not overcaution.
